OUR STORY
Western Roadtrain Driver Training was founded by Mili and Darko Savic in 2013 with a commitment to raising the standard of heavy vehicle training in Western Australia. What began as a small family business with a single truck has grown into a fleet of more than twelve, supported by a team of experienced instructors and staff, built on strong industry relationships and a reputation for doing things properly.

At Western Roadtrain Driver Training, we help individuals and organisations across Western Australia build safer, more capable drivers — from aspiring operators to experienced industry professionals.

EXECUTIVE TEAM
Darko Savic | Director, Head Trainer & Assessor
Darko brings more than 30 years of experience in the trucking industry, including long-distance driving triple road trains all across Western Australia. His real-world knowledge shapes the practical, industry-focused training WRDT is known for today.
Mili Savic | Director, Operations Manager
Mili brings over 25 years of experience in customer service, leadership, and operations. After a career in the Australian Government, she came on board full-time with the family business in 2014 and has helped grow WRDT into one of Perth’s most respected heavy vehicle training providers.
Marko Savic | Director, Trainer & Assessor
In 2022, Marko joined the team as an instructor and assessor after gaining hands-on industry experience following his own licence qualification. In 2024, he became a Director of the business and is set to help guide WRDT into its next chapter.
